Example Project in Radio Usage by Sector

Radio usage has a very wide range of sectors. It is used in the construction sector and construction sites, electricity distribution companies, factory manufacturing and facilities, logistics and warehousing, oil and gas enterprises, port facilities, railway transportation systems, air transportation and airports, educational institutions, private security and facility management systems, institutions and administrations providing public security, and municipalities and public services. Novatel has very extensive projects in radio communication and infrastructure planning, installation, mobile application services, and many other areas. To give an example of these projects; "Meram SCADA and Voice Radio Communication Infrastructure Project" is currently the largest radio communication infrastructure project established with this technology in Turkey. It is a digital trunk radio system using DMR tier-3 technology, providing coverage with 43 base stations within the scope of the project. This project enables end-to-end radio communication, instant location information, recording of all radio conversations, and playback when necessary. The ability to program radios and radio infrastructure centrally via OTA method for specific purposes is perhaps one of the most important features of this project.
